B'geella Romano

Field Manager

B’geella is a professional archaeologist and has been working in cultural heritage management since 2015.

Throughout her career B’geella has worked in both urban and regional locales as a heritage consultant, and has been involved in projects such as, the ARC linkage project 'Lifeways of the First Australians' and ‘Kimberly Visions’.

B’geella jointed the GJCRM team in 2019 and has been involved in numerous archaeological heritage surveys and has worked across the Pilbara, Kimberly and the Western Desert. Her fieldwork experience within Western Australia also includes, the management and recording of archaeological sites and the identification of archaeological material.

B’geella’s role as field manager at GJCRM has also included facilitating conversation between Indigenous and government stakeholders and liaising with Traditional indigenous land owners.
